It offers a possibility of a good entertainment...prom "picigin" (playing with a ball in the sea) to sand volleyball, because there are two playgrounds for volleyball and one for football.

Meline owns a healing mud. Although nowhere is mentioned what are that disturbances in which it is helpful, many people are satisfied examing it on their proper skin so they come back to Meline.

The history of Meline- At the Roman time there was a salt-works (why neighbouring place Soline was named) but closed during the Francopanas. Namely, Soline competed with Venetian salt-works in Pag and Rab. For a while at Meline there was also a brickyard, but they found that the material has been not suitable for making bricks. There left only the water-front extended over Meline.

BISERUJKA cave (4 km from Čižići)

The fact there is a cave near small village of Rudine above the Slivanjska cove has been known for over a 100 years. It' entrance used to be a simple hole in the ground. Since then it has been a source of immmagination thanks to its beauty.  According to a legend smugglers hide a pearl treasure in the cave and that's why it's called Biserujka (biser in Croatian means a pearl). The first adventurous explorers started gradual widening of its narrow passages to allow visitors to move through it much easily. The installation of electric light brought significant increase of interest in the Biserujka cave, because visitors could easily admire its rich galleries filled with numerous stalactites, stalagmites and calcite pillars. The temperature in the cave is constant approx. 10-13°C all year around. The footpaths leading to a cave are well-maintained and safe for all visitors including children and elderly. DIVING M/S PELTASTIS (5 km from Čižići)

Depth: 7-32 meters
Location is suitable for all categories, from beginners to advanced divers

Greek motor ship "Peltastis" sunk on January 8th 1968. at 4.30 am on location between Silo and Klimno on island Krk. On January 4th ship came in Rijeka from Venice. In Rijeka ship disembarked 500 tons of ore and 60 tons of other ship cargo. Than ship left Rijeka port and went in Jurjevo port (small port near Senj). During morning ship embarked 500 cubic meters of wood. Soon after embarkation weather got worse. Captain of ship decided to leave unsafe port of Jurjevo and ship routed to Crikvenica. Soon "Peltastis" came near Crikvenica and dropped anchors. Captain of the ship hoped that with dropped anchors and working engines would overcome storm and strong wind. But, during the night wind became stronger and sea restless with high waves. Two hours before sinking started hurricane and ship easily began to sail toward rocks of island Krk. Strength of the wind was about 200 kilometer on hour. Seem that main problem was in anchors because crew of ship probably did not know that bottom of the Crikvenica bay is full of sand. Anchors had not something to hook. So after two hours of battle with strong wind and high waves "Peltastis" hit the rocks between Silo and Klimno. On Peltastis were 12 sailors. Soon after impact sailors jumped into the sea but only 4 survived. Captain of the ship Theodoros Belesis decided to sunk with ship. After few months first divers from Crikvenica visited the ship. They noticed a man in navigation room, body was in upright position slightly keeled ahead. Captain of the ship was taken out the sea 10 months after sinking. He is buried in cemetery Kozala (Rijeka). First plans were to take out the ship but soon authority gave up of this idea and left "Peltastis" forever only to divers.
